ABSTRACT

A fifteen year old male child was admitted to hospital in toxic condition with high fever chills vomiting. abdominal pain, slurred speech, incoherence, weakness of left lower extremity arid reel colored urine He was found to have compromised renal functions, hepatic disturbances and mild hypotension He had elevated acute phase reactants and positive blood culture for staphylococcus coagulase positive This child presents and early case to toxic shock syndrome who responded well to treatment and was dischaiged in good condition
